Description:

GIF2RPC is a command line utility that converts a GIF image to a native
RISC OS sprite.

It features:

    o   Generation of sprites optimised for default wimp palette
        including 2, 4, 16, 256, and 32K colour displays
    o   Various error-diffusion algorithms:
                sierra (3 variants)
                floyd-steinberg (CFSI)
                burkes
                stucki
                jarvis-judice-ninke
                2x2 dither
    o   Handles malformed GIF's nicely (*no* crashes!)
    o   It's reasonably fast

With the package comes source code and documentation on how to
get ArcWeb and Webster to use this program to render their
GIF's.
